Ingredients
1 lb self raising flour
3 oz sugar
1 1/2 oz butter melted
3 eggs beaten
approx 3 tablespoons of white wine
METHOD
Mix the flour and the sugar. Make a well in the centre of flour and add the beqten eggs and melted butter and wine.
Mix well and knead for a few minutes and if mixture is a little too hard add a little more wine.
Roll out the pastry about 1/2 inch thick then cut the pastry into differnet shapes ie: triangles, rectancles, squares and fry in a pan of deep oil(chipper) until golden brown. Drain and place on kitchen roll. dust with caster/icing sugar and serve hot or cold.
