Andrea Faustini UK X Factor

Not only brains are draining from Italy, but also singers!

X Factor's Andrea Faustini is another talented young Italian willing to leave his country to pursue his dream. He announced to the “Daily Star” that he wants to leave Rome to move permanently to London.

Faustini was chosen amongst the finalists of the eleventh UK series of the X factor which began on ITV on the 30th of August 2014. The tutors of this edition were Mel B who tutored the Boys, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini who tutored the Girls, Simon Cowell who tutored the over 25s and Louis Walsh who tutored the Groups.

With the eliminations of Jake Quickenden in week 3, Jack Walton in week 4 and Paul Akister in week 5, Faustini is now Mel B's only remaining artist in the competition.

Andrea Faustini is a 20-year old student of Chinese and Korean languages from Rome. After failing the admission to the Italian X Factor and Sanremo Giovani he endeared X Factor Uk’s judges and is now one of the finalists of the popular programme. In 2008 he took part in the programme “Ti lascio una canzone” where he met Roberto Cenci who advised him to learn English and go to sing abroad. He had already tried with the Italian X Factor three times without succeeding. Things were about to change this year when he was admitted to the Italia X Factor but also to the UK’s one, so he had to choose between the home land and the UK.

The UK public appreciated him very much with more than a million viewings. The singer has astonished the judges since his first audition and he now believes the UK holds the key to his success.

Faustini told the “Daily Star” he loves The UK and wants to move there anyway. So even if he doesn’t win this edition of X Factor he’ll release music in the UK as his dream is to make a soul and gospel record.
